What you can expect from your Spring internship at Textron Aviation:
Be prepared for an internship that provides you with meaningful projects, opportunities to learn new skills, and the ability to explore future career fields. This onsite, paid internship will be a commitment of 20 - 40 hours per week, depending on the area, for the full semester.

* Aviation Maintenance: Ensure aircraft are safe and working well by performing regular checks and repairs.
* Business Management: Monitor and coordinate various parts of the company to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
* Communication: Develop content for our different communication channels.
* Customer Experience and Events: Ensure customers have a positive experience with our products and services.
* Data Analytics: Collect, organize, and analyze data to assist in decision making.
* Engineering: Use science and math to solve problems and create new solutions.
* Finance: Assist the accounting team with data entry and financial analysis.
* Flight Operations/ Pilot: Support pilots and dispatchers with their tasks and coordination.
* Human Resources: Support business hiring, employee relations, and compensation.
* Information Technology: Develop databases and fix software problems.
* Manufacturing: Read blueprints, work with sheet metal, machinery, and other various tools.
* Marketing: Run marketing campaigns, create graphic designs, and practice project management.
* Sales: Communicate effectively with customers to sell Textron Aviation products.
What you need to be successful:
* Must be a current high school student who is 18 years old.
* Familiar with navigating website applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Skills such as problem solving, organization, and communication (verbal and written) are helpful.
