Job Title: Mechanic | A&P

Reports to: Maintenance Director

Job Summary: The right candidate will be a team player and be capable of performing, inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on our piston aircraft. Being a part of our team means working hard in our fast-paced environment while keeping safety at the highest priority. Finally, a full understanding of logbook management systems and maintenance FARs is a must.

Requirements:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies
  • Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries
  • Follow all policies and procedures
  • Keep a clean and orderly work environment
  • Perform job duties in a safe manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate Required
  • 2 or more years of piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • ROTAX, Piper Pa-28, and Cirrus Aircraft experience a plus

Skill Requirements:

  • Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to manage written communication via Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

Physical Demands:

  • Employee is regularly required to talk, hear, see, stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
