Application Instructions Adena Lakeland - Shop Welder/Fabricator (GTAW & GMAW) We are currently looking for a career-minded Shop Welder/Fabricator to join the Adena Lakeland team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in welding metal components and parts using specialized equipment such as gas welders and gas torches. You will use electrical currents to create heat and bond metals, plan your work by interpreting blueprints, and observe tests on welded surfaces to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.

Position Description Primary Job Responsibilities: • Sets up and operates high - frequency, AC and DC welding equipment
• Examines detailed drawings or specifications to find out job, material and equipment requirement
• Cuts, rolls, shapes, bends, heats, or hammers metal products to fabricate parts or sub- assemblie
• Sets up and/or operates hand and machine tools, torches, and welding equipment
• Assembles parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding or bolting
• Performs routine inspections on assigned equipment and notifies supervisor of defects or needed repair
• Adheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment
• Possibility to learn to run computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine

Position Requirements Adena Lakeland - Shop Welder/Fabricator (GTAW & GMAW) Desired Qualifications/Skills: • Must have the ability to work nights, holidays and/or weekends when required
• GTAW on Aluminum and Stainless Steel
• GMAW (mig) Carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Attention to detail - ability to operate grinder with precision to not scar or damage part
• FLUX COR preferred
• Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform duties of the role
• Physically capable of handling heavy materials, tools, and machines. Ability to lift up to 50 Ibs.
• Must obtain the necessary training and certification prior to operating any equipment
• Must maintain a valid driver's license or transportation to and from work
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work independently with little direction when applicable
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
• Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instruction
• Ability to use equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to read drawing
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to pass a weld test
• Experience prepping and applying a shop coat of prime paint is a plu
• Ability to work overtime and on-site (within reason) as - needed
