Our client is looking to hire a Bookkeeper as the business continues to grow exponentially. The individual will be maintaining and servicing clients, assisting with data entry, preparing monthly reconciliations, and will require a strong attention to detail. Client Details Our client is a privately owned tax and accounting office. They promote an amazing team culture that promotes a strong work-life balance. Description Maintain and service a book of corporate client business accounts. Data Entry into QuickBooks or another accounting program using client provided data. Monthly account reconciliation. Financial Statement preparation for accountant review. Sales tax computations and processing Sales Tax returns. Act as backup to the Payroll Clerk. Assist in answering office phones and routing inbound calls. Faithfully use and improve company systems. Profile Associate's degree or related experience preferred. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to strict confidentiality. Ability to sit looking in front of a computer screen for long periods of time. Flexible in daily routine; ability to prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities. Technologically savvy with ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues (experience with Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Accounting CS a plus.) Self-starter with ability to prioritize and multitask. Strong communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with accounting software programs. Positive and happy personality. Be a team player!
