Transdev Services, Inc. is hiring immediately Bus Drivers at its Modesto, CA facility. The ideal candidates will safely and efficiently transport the local community to work, school, shopping, medical appointments, personal trips, and other destinations in the Modesto, CA area. • Drive a transit bus and transport passengers safely, timely and efficiently
\n
• Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment
\n
• Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
\n
• Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers
\n
• Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
\n
• A valid drivers’ license in good standing with the ability to obtain a CDL permit
\n
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
\n
• Punctual with an emphasis on attendance
\n

Physical requirements include the ability to:

\n
• Sit for extended periods of time
\n
• Drive in traffic and in all weather conditions
\n
• Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment above shoulder level without assistance
\n
• Move up and down stairs easily
\n
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
\n
