Job Description

Position: Business Analyst

Location: Remote (9 AM- 5 PM Mon-Fri EST)

Pay Rate: $60-$70/HR DOE

Contract: 18- Months (Possible Extension/ Conversion)

Responsibilities:

1.Tracking, reporting, and managing the status of the project work
2. Participate in project meetings
3. Monitor and document project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure deployment dates and project implementation are successful
4. Make clear presentations to leadership.
5. Develop and implement contingency and recovery plans when deliverables are missed

Background/ Skills Needed:

• Experience working in one of the following business units in a managed care company or health insurer: Product/Benefit management, Medical Management, Appeals
• OR extensive Project Management work in lieu of business unit experience.
• 2+ years understanding of medical coding concepts (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10).
• 2+ years extensive project management experience using data and information to make business decisions.
• 2+ years demonstrated experience presenting to senior leaders.
• 2+ years Proficiency with Word, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint, Teams
• PMP Certification is an asset but not required.
• Certified professional coder is an asset but not required.
