Overview

To support our growing technology portfolio, Vertosoft is seeking a self-starting, responsible, highly motivated team player to join our team as a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. At Vertosoft, our BI Analysts will work with various departments to analyze market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Curate and maintain our internal database of accounts, contacts, and transaction data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and currency of the data.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources, including government databases such as FPDS, Exhibit 53, SAM.gov and GovWin to identify market trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain market intelligence databases and dashboards with the curated data.
• Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights on market positioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development and marketing strategies.
• Use statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze data and generate predictive models.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates and reports on market intelligence activities and findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• 2 or more years of experience in market intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Preferred experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with government databases and procurement processes is a plus.
