INTERNSHIP SUMMARY

· Mandatory Start Date & Orientation: January 8, 2025

· 15 Hours a week MAX over 16 weeks. (200 Hours MAX)

· $15/hour rate of pay

· $50/Month Stipend

· Internship duration: Spring 2025 (Jan. 8 – Apr. 30)

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Destination Cleveland leads a local collaborative of fourteen regional non-profits focused on growing the population, known as the Cleveland Talent Alliance (CTA). The CTA intern, employed by Destination Cleveland, will assist the CTA director with ongoing efforts, including the Resident Ambassador program and the creation/implementation of a Campus Ambassador program at Northeast Ohio colleges and universities that aims to keep college students in the region post-graduation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with regular communication to existing Resident Ambassadors
  • Connect Resident Ambassadors to potential newcomers, adhering to an established standard operating procedure
  • Assist with the ideation and creation of a new Campus Ambassador program alongside CTA members and a college student focus group
  • Help schedule and organize meetings with college student focus group
  • Attend regularly scheduled CTA meetings
  • Additional duties as assigned related to CTA efforts that improve perceptions of Cleveland as a place to live and work

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or content creation platforms like Canva is helpful but not necessary.
