Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care for patients with chronic or acute respiratory conditions. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to manage respiratory therapy treatments, including administering oxygen, mechanical ventilation, and other critical care procedures. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and make quick, informed decisions.

Duties

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilation.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, blood gas analysis, and other assessments.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory conditions and progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques, medication use, and ongoing management.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including therapy notes and test results, in compliance with hospital standards.
• Respond to emergency situations, providing immediate respiratory support as required.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and hospital policies and procedures.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Experience in an acute care or hospital setting required.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures, equipment, and protocols.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in critical care situations.

Requirements

• Required: BLS, CRT or RRT, NH license
• Minimum 3 years of experience
