Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative on behalf of our client! In this position you will provide customer service and collaborate with internal teams while working closely with management. The ideal candidate will have a true passion for providing exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail oriented and tenaciously follow the order through to successful completion, ensuring all requirements are met, every step of the way.
This is a Temp-to-Hire position meaning you will have a 3-month evaluation period before being hired on permanently!
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as primary point of contact for customer orders.
· Manage coordination of fulfillment, which includes expediting orders to ensure they are fulfilled properly and on time.
· Responsible for manual and EDI order entry.
· Collaboratively maintain a reference sheet of customers special order requirements.
· Verify price accuracy, unit of measure accuracy and cross reference to item index unique to each customer.
· Communicate with the Transportation Coordinator, operations, sales and accounting personnel on issues surrounding orders, scheduling, pricing and refunds/chargebacks.
· Support customer service by assisting with consumer calls regarding product issues.
· Back-up multi-line phone system and customer service incoming correspondence as needed.
· Maintain various spreadsheets and update Sharepoint.
· Provide assistance to others as needed.
· Other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experiences:
· 3+ years of customer service experience.
. Associates or Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management or similar field of study preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; accurate typing, 10-key and data entry skills.
· Proven, exceptional customer service skills with a willingness to help out where needed.
· Detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
· Highly articulate in both written and verbal communications.
