About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the company, including operations, finances, programming, fundraising, community relationships, and human resources. This role involves providing strategic direction to ensure the achievement of the company's mission and goals. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, committees, and staff to create and implement a strategic plan, oversee program excellence, and represent the company to the public. Additionally, the role includes supervising a team of 15 employees, directly overseeing four key positions, and engaging in fundraising activities to secure financial support. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' proven management experience. A Master’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nonprofit finances, experience in fundraising, and a track record of success in working with a Board of Directors. Excellent organizational management, communication, and public relations skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, video conferencing software, and databases is required. The role also demands a deep knowledge of volunteerism, familiarity with the local nonprofit landscape, and the ability to pass various background checks. The Executive Director must be willing and able to travel, and work some evenings and weekends as necessary.
