: 188069 If you have strong problem solving and negotiation skills, you may be a fit for our Commercial Lines Claims team as a **claims adjuster**. On our team, you'll manage claims from customers with small businesses or commercial product policies. Supporting customer needs, you'll make coverage decisions that determine the extent of Progressive's liability. You'll gather details through interviews and investigations. In-depth training along with ongoing coaching will be provided. This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for meetings and/or training.
We have three areas of responsibility which you may help with. You'll take on one of the below as your primary role:
* **Heavy Equipment Claims:** Adjust claims on heavy equipment vehicles such as semi-trucks, cement mixers, and construction vehicles
* **Injury Claims:** Adjust unrepresented bodily injury commercial claims
* **Rideshare Claims:** Adjust claims with companies supporting rideshare services, and customers using those services
**Must-have qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree or higher or a combined total of five years of work experience and/or college education. Must have one year of injury claims handling or work in the insurance industry
* Work or educational experience must include:
+ Making decisions

+ Planning, prioritizing and organizing
+ Effectively communicating verbally and in writing
+ Customer service
**Compensation**
* $50,000 - $60,000/year **Non-Injury Heavy Equipment and Rideshare Claims**; $53,000 - $63,000/year **Injury Claims**
* Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
