Fleet Clerk- Irving, Texas The Fleet Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support for the fleet team and its customers so the operation maintains regulatory compliance, adheres to specified accounting/financial/reporting requirements and is proactive in 'crushing costs' to achieve a favorable business plan. Position Responsibilities: Ensure on-going data integrity. Responsible for the on-going development and administration of system reports - adapting to changing business imperatives: Input and retrieval of data, creation of tables and reports for cost analysis. Fleet maintenance activities such as work orders, PM tracking Maintain fleet asset inventory database - location, technical data, registration expiration/renewals, etc. Responsible for high level analysis Trend analysis Recommendations to fleet manager based on report findings Region point of contact for system issues on all modules including: Capital purchases Fuel Purchase Program Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Permanent Fleet Registration Program Permits, Licensing, & Heavy Use Tax SAP fleet related requisitions / purchase orders Analysis of Financial Systems Create, run and examine financial reports, statements, and account details. Assist in correcting journal entries as required. Central contact for controlling lease equipment invoicing and transfers Assist in transition to fleet EAM program and on-going asset management system activities. Initiate SAP requisitions for capital purchases. Ensure / track purchase order routing and approvals. Coordinate payment with Accounts Payable. Ensure / track all fleet licensing, permits, insurance. Total Rewards: Pay starting at $21.22 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $22.38 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.
