Job Description
Part-time Garden Center Sales Associate for seasonal (March-November) employment. If you enjoy growing plants and helping customers choose plants for their landscape, this is the ideal job for you. In this position, you would be working both indoors and out, and learning almost all aspects of taking care of perennials, trees, and shrubs. You will also be processing sales and returns on point-of-sale software, and greeting/assisting customers in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and on the telephone. This position requires some lifting and the ability to be on your feet for long periods of time. You will be learning quickly in a fast-paced environment, and will need to have basic math skills, as well as positive attitude.

We are a Garden Center and Nursery located halfway between Chesterton and Valparaiso, Indiana. We help our employees learn about plants, trees and landscaping and have several Certified Horticulturists on staff. We even offer Horticulturist classes for employees that wish to become certified.
