Job Description

The Eyecare Center of Salem is a leading provider of quality eye care services in the Salem area. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and top-of-the-line eye care services. Due to our company's growth, we are looking for a Home Based Scheduling Coordinator to join our team and help us deliver outstanding service to our patients.

 As a Home Based Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling of appointments for our patients. You will work from the comfort of your own home, using the latest technology to ensure efficient and effective scheduling and communication with both patients and our team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain appointment schedules for our patients

- Communicate with patients via phone, email, and messaging platforms to schedule appointments

- Ensure all patient information is accurate and up-to-date in our system

- Monitor and manage the flow of appointments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

- Use the latest technology and software to facilitate scheduling and communication

- Collaborate with our team to ensure proper and timely follow-up with patients

- Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing any patient concerns or questions

- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on scheduling and patient flow

- Keep abreast of industry best practices and update scheduling processes as needed

 

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred

- 2 years of experience in a customer service or scheduling role

- Proficient in technology and comfortable working from home

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Able to work independently and efficiently

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
