Job Summary

We are looking for an Investment Analyst to assist with underwriting and executing new investments as well as reporting and operational analysis on portfolio companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

· Gather, analyze, and interpret data.

· Develop data informed actionable strategies.

· Perform regular reporting and develop ways to streamline or automate processes to increase efficiency.

· Engage and collaborate with team members to understand analytical requirements, deliver high-quality presentations, and build trusted relationships.

· Perform detailed research of industries, companies, and individuals (private and public)

· Analyze potential companies’ financial statements, business models and KPIs (private and public)

· Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, including investment memos for internal use as well as for potential business partners

· Assist in asset management model workstreams (e.g., modelling, quarterly reporting, understanding the product and making recommendations for improvement, etc.)

Job Requirements

 

· Minimum three years of finance OR analytics and reporting experience

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

· Strong communication skills (verbal and written), teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, and the ability to communicate analytical results clearly with non-technical individuals

· Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy

· Motivated by results, urgency, and personal commitment.

· Fosters mutual trust and respect, and demonstrates high integrity, an exceptional work ethic, and confidentiality.
