Job Specific Competencies:
- Supporting, configuring, maintaining and refreshing servers, network switches, desktops, laptops and other networked devices
- Supporting, configuring, maintaining and refreshing firewalls, VPN, IDS/OPS, and firewall management platforms
- Identify existing network, server and computer security weaknesses, and implement and enforcing resolutions
- Conduct frequent network, server and computer security audits to identify new weaknesses
- Develop and maintain company-wide security policies and ensure their compliance
- Develop, maintain and test an IT Disaster Recovery Plan, and work with assigned delegates from other departments to ensure business continuity
- Provide planning and analysis to ensure network-wide security meets current and future requirements
- Stay abreast of industry security best practices, standards and compliance regulations, such as ISO 27000, NIST SP 800-171, etc., as well as customer-specific requirements
- Create and maintain up-to-date documentation regarding duties
- Responsible for writing programs and supporting existing programs that extract data from a variety of sources to be analyzed by or with management
- Work with various departments to determine the exact nature of the reporting required
- Develop software programs that present data in a useful format for business needs
- Communicate data administration concepts to management and team members via oral and/or written reports, presentations, or general discussions
- Available for 24x7 on-call support
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications and Education:
- AS or BS Degree; or a combination of education and experience
- Certifications on one or more of the following: GSEC, CISA, CEH, ECSA, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+
- Extremely detail orientated, organized and dependable
- Excellent verbal, written and people skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
- At least 3 years of Corporate Network Administration, system building and Help Desk experience\
- At least 3 years of Corporate Network Security experience, protocol analysis, access control, and intrusion detection and prevention
- Good problem management/resolution capability with hands-on ability and customer facing skills
- A strong understanding of Manufacturing and Accounting processes as they relate to data analysis
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with creating reports in Crystal Reports
- Experience with T-SQL query language - must be able to write triggers, stored procedures, and SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience creating, performance tuning and maintaining databases in Microsoft SQL Server
- Prior experience with database management
- Experience with programming VBScript and in Visual Studio (Visual Basic and C#)
- QCBD software experience a plus
- Infor Visual Manufacturing ERP software experience a plus
- Tableau Reporting software experience a plus
