JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary

The Quality Associate/Sr Technician impacts the organization by assembly inspection to include dimensional/positional accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensures visual accuracy of parts
• Writes suspect material for review by the Material Review Board
• Works directly with the customer quality engineers
• Sends and follows up on e-mails for material awaiting resolution of an issue
• ensures traceability for major rotating parts as well as accurate recording of serial numbers for International shipments
• Inspects material in receiving inspection, validation and recording of accurate part information in SAP

Preferences

• Possesses basic measurement tool usage experience
• Understands basic blueprints
• Demonstrates basic Excel skills
• Possesses ability to adapt to different environments; attention to detail

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
• Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions
• Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself
• Must High School Diploma or equivalent?
