Role and Responsibilities:

Are you a dependable and friendly driver looking to make a difference? Join our team as a Meals on Wheels Driver ! In this role, you'll be the key link between our kitchen and our valued customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery of meals.

• Safely transport meals and materials to designated sites.
• Verify and load meals and containers onto the van.
• Deliver meals to various locations and assist with bringing food inside as needed.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and pick up return items.
• Maintain and clean food containers and the delivery van.
• Perform pre-drive safety checks and log meal temperatures.
• Support kitchen staff and handle any complaints with professionalism.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Experience as a delivery driver is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lift heavy items.

Physical Demands:

• Reasonable accommodations may be me made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, gran and lift up to (25) lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.
