Compensation:

$20 - $24 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with documentation and administrative tasks during patient encounters
  • Accurately and efficiently document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatments in electronic health records (EHR)
  • Transcribe physician orders, prescriptions, and other medical instructions
  • Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely documentation
  • Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
  • Assist with coding and billing processes to ensure accurate reimbursement
Qualifications:

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support
  • Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Associate degree in medical scribe or Medical Assistant
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work independently
