Arrow is growing and we're looking for an experienced full-time Painter to join our team reconstruction team in Dickinson, ND.

Arrow Service Team is a leader in disaster restoration industry in North Dakota, based out of Bismarck, ND. As a restoration painter, you will work on a variety of different projects throughout the work week. Our painters work on everything from painting the interior and/or exterior of a residential or commercial property to staining trim at the shop.

Training will be in Bismarck ND with our experienced painter team. Expected training is 3 weeks but depends on progress. Hotel room will be covered and a nightly per diem is offered.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Brushing, rolling, and spraying, depending on job and material (for example: walls, trim, doors and jambs, cabinets, etc.).
  • Mask, fill holes, and sand out imperfections.
  • Complete jobs, utilizing appropriate finishes and applications in adherence to the owners or property manager’s instructions.
  • Cleaning of areas, supplies, and equipment at the completion of the project.
  • Provide necessary documentation for work that is completed.
  • Paint exterior and interior areas of residential and commercial buildings.

 

Experience and Skills:

  • Painting experience (2 + year(s), preferred).
  • Individual must be familiar with techniques of painting and staining.
  • Knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix, and apply.
  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Lift (constantly) 5-20 lbs., lift (frequently) 20-50 lbs.
  • May involve significant stand/walk/ push/pull.
  • Consistent climbing (ladders, scaffolding, etc.), balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild to moderate.

Pay:

  • Starting at $20 - $24hr., DOE
  • 90-day review (potential for wage adjustment if applicable)
  • Annual reviews scheduled thereafter within department review cycle (potential for wage adjustment if applicable)

Schedule:

  • 40 - 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically 7:30am through 5pm (may slightly vary depending on travel distance)
  • Rare Over-nights (hotel room paid, per diem offered)

 

Education:

  • High school or equivalent

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (required)
  • Reliable transportation to get to/from work
