Job Description

PC Technician

Talent Mingle is seeking a skilled PC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for our clients. You will provide technical support, maintenance, and upgrades for various PC systems, ensuring that computers are up and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops and laptops.
  • Perform installations, configurations, repairs, and upgrades on PCs.
  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of computer parts and equipment.
  • Document all technical procedures and support activities accurately.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
  • Assist in organization-wide IT projects as needed.
  • Provide training and support to users on system operations and software applications.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, MCP) preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in PC support and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with hardware components and their functionality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift and transport moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work on-site as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role.
  • Knowledge of Mac systems is a plus.
