As Personal Stylist & Sales Lead at V&V you’ll bring joy, surprise and discovery to our clients’ clothing experience through personal styling and independent design. You’ll cultivate authentic client relationships and offer exceptional styling expertise and product knowledge, driving sales and appointment bookings. You’ll collaborate with our team to create a visually compelling store environment.

This role is full-time at our flagship store in downtown Durham. It offers a competitive salary ($50,000 to $54,000), PTO, benefits, and a set schedule. It also provides a rare opportunity to mentor with our renowned co-founder, who was trained in Paris.

ROLE:

• Learn the “master class” of hospitality, personal styling and sales
• Develop in-depth knowledge of V&V’s curated collection of independent designers and engage and inspire clients and walk-ins with our designers’ stories 
• Successfully lead our team in planning appointments, creating memorable styling experiences, and fulfilling our sales and KPI goals 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• You embody V&V’s core values of care, candor, optimism, and curiosity
• You love to serve others and you’re driven to build sales and achieve & exceed goals
• You have at least 1 full year of proven experience with personal styling and retail sales, ideally in a boutique setting
• You can describe the construction, cut and material of a garment
• You’re able to work on your feet and lift 25 lbs

• Annual salary of $50,000 - $54,000, commensurate with experience, and performance-pay increases.
