The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Production Test Pilot to join our Flight Test team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). You will contribute to aeronautical progress by promoting sound aeronautical design and development. You will be part of the Flight Test team responsible for planning and conducting development, certification, production, marketing and sales activities, and training flight tests on assigned aircraft. Your challenges: Responsible for the conduct of the whole flight assuming flight safety. Write and/or review development or certification test plans and reports for assigned flight tests. Participate in test readiness meetings. Participate in the planning, coordination, and short-term scheduling of tests to be performed on assigned test aircraft. Coordinate with flight test engineers as required ensuring the aircraft is configured properly to meet test objectives. Prepare and distribute Flight Reports after each assigned test flight. Identify and report customer and certification issues to Program Management. Support production flight test and corporate flight activities on as-needed basis. Act as internal customer as an independent body to initially verify the final product. Support to Design from early stages of the Program. Provide Operational inputs and understanding at all levels. Support marketing and sales campaigns. Support other organizations with the relations with customers. Support Services in Customer support, aircraft documentation and Training. Effective communication of flight test observations to engineers and pilot community, thus bringing the gap between those who design and build aircraft with those who employ the aircraft for the intended mission. Fly and evaluate experimental, newly produced and modified aircraft with specific manoeuvres (flight test techniques). Your boarding pass: Must be graduated from a recognized test pilot school or equivalent. Must hold an ICAO ATPL, EASA with Flight test rating is a plus. 5 years previous experience in flight testing of transport category aircrafts (CS-25). Operational experience in the airline environment. Travel required: Occasional travel within Canada and Overseas.
