Your Job: Georgia-Pacific is now hiring
Production Associates to join our Corrugated facility in
West Monroe, LA! You will be assigned to a machine center and work alongside other Production Associates and a Mentor to learn the essential duties of the job.
Salary: - $16.81 per hour
- You will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the plant.
Shift: - Only candidates who are flexible and available to work any shift will be considered. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- This position is on a rotating shift working 8-12 hours depending on job assignment, and then rotating shifts (days/nights) weekly.

What You Will Do: - Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification target
- Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems
- Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
- Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
- Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
- Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications): - Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, military environment, or similar environment.
