Job Description

Project Architects / Senior Designer

Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated Architect or Senior Designer for our growing architectural department. This is a full-time position with long-term growth opportunities in an amazing small firm environment. They do a diverse array of work from interior remodeling to multi-million dollar commercial and industrial projects. They are looking for candidates that possess most or all of the following abilities:

  • Ability to develop conceptual and presentation drawings as well as technical drawings for all phases of project documentation


  • Ability to understand the client and stakeholders’ vision and key factors for project success


  • Demonstrate an ability to work on multiple projects while meeting budget and schedule constraints


  • Plans and programs layout of project; coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval


  • Interact and communicate effectively with team members, clients and other agencies


  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards of architectural design, detailing, IBC building codes and basic MEP systems


  • Assist in research and coordination of materials and product for project specifications


  • Develop solutions to design assignments and technical problems


  • Participate in the marketing of new clients, presentations and trade shows


  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture for Project Architect position


  • Registered Architect or progress toward becoming a Registered Architect for Project Architect position


  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in an architectural position


  • Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and professional commitment


  • Self-starting with strong work ethic and time management skills


  • Team player willing to accept a full range of responsibilities


  • Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, COMcheck, MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other modeling or rendering software
