Are you passionate about leading agile teams and driving successful project outcomes? We're looking for a dedicated Scrum Master to join our dynamic software development team in a full-time remote position. While this role is primarily remote, you will have quarterly travel to Sacramento, CA.

As a Scrum Master, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our team through sprint planning, managing user stories, facilitating scrum events, and setting clear team goals. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams, communication with stakeholders and leadership, and proactive risk management will be key to our project's success.

This consulting role supports the Department of Healthcare Services - Behavioral Health, a leader in technological innovation within California state government.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead sprint planning and coordinate scrum ceremonies to ensure smooth team operations.
- Work closely with team members to define goals and set objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication between teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to address them.

Qualifications:

- At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a development environment, utilizing Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Agile/Scrum practices and software development lifecycles.
- Current certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Experience with JIRA Agile tracking software.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to lead in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for technical documentation and problem-solving.

Additional experience or certifications in Project Management, Software Development, or Quality Assurance are a plus. We value candidates who can demonstrate effective teamwork and clear communication with both team members and clients.

Salary: $ 40,000.00 140,000.00 Per Year
