Job Title: Senior Forensic Accountant
Location: Akron, OH, United States
Opportunity: We are seeking a career-driven Senior Forensic Accountant with 2-5 years of public accounting experience to join an Investigative Accounting Group. This role offers a flexible, hybrid work environment and the chance to work on diverse and challenging projects. You will primarily engage with commercial property insurers to evaluate physical damage and business income losses due to catastrophes. Projects include analyzing historical financial data, industry information, revenue and expense projections, and economic damage evaluations. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of industries, from small local retail stores to multinational corporations.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with commercial property insurers to assess business income losses and physical damage.
- Review and analyze historical financial and industry data.
- Evaluate insurance claims and economic damages.
- Develop and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in various forensic accounting and litigation support projects.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA designation preferred but not required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed (approximately 15%).

- Self-motivated with a natural aptitude for problem-solving.
- Ability to handle a variety of work experiences and challenges.
- Outgoing personality with a genuine interest in forensic accounting and litigation support.
