Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior ServiceNow System Administrator to join our team to support our government clients. In this remote role, the candidate can be located anywhere in the United States. This multi-faceted opportunity is a leadership role on our ServiceNow capability team that is growing and provides room for creativity and growth for a dynamic and exciting career path.

The Senior ServiceNow System Administrator works in collaboration with teams across the business to support clients looking for creative solutions! As a Senior ServiceNow System Administrator you will work on full ServiceNow System development lifecycle process that translates business requirements into functioning software systems, services and solutions.

Job Responsibilities

As a ServiceNow System Administrator you will:

  • Be responsible for the configuration and administration of solutions within the ServiceNow environment
  • Work with stakeholders to design, configure, test, document, and deploy system changes to the environment
  • Assess the impact of new requirements on ServiceNow and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
  • Decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Be the primary resource for ensuring system health
  • Provide technical insight in designing and supporting ServiceNow while aligning to Service Management standard methodologies
  • Configure, customize, script, and develop the ServiceNow platform
  • Gather specifications from service owners, document requirements, and deliver product releases to meet business needs
  • Build workflows from service owner requirements including requests, request items and tasks
  • Design and build integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration
  • Install and use MID servers, web services, email and other relevant technology to integrate tools with the ServiceNow platform
  • Create views and reports as needed to illustrate service performance and demonstrate business value
  • Lead and prioritize simultaneous requests, and lead coordination with multi-functional teams

 

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Experience in delivering high value solutions from your customer’s perspective (have a minimum CSAT score of 8/10) with a minimum of five (5) years of direct experience with one or more ServiceNow ITSM, ITBM, and ITOM product suites and a minimum of two (2) years of direct experience with each product suite that led to the successful implementation of at least two centralized platforms with a combination of these platform products to support more than 1,000 users.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator with multiple ServiceNow implementations / staff positions in the ServiceNow Administrator role
  • Demonstrated experience leading users, data, and security in a ServiceNow platform with 1,000+ users
  • Experience in performing day-to-day ServiceNow Administration tasks and activities for platform product/services operations delivering ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM capabilities (including configuration)
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving Tier 2 level production support issues for ServiceNow products
  • Lead product releases, sprints, and development cycles
  • Experience in agile methodology as Scrum Master
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization (written and verbal)
  • Experience designing advanced ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and IT process automation
  • Experience managing system changes without interruption to the user
  • Ability to use the advanced administration capabilities of ServiceNow
  • Experience maintaining, enhancing and creating automated IT processes within the ServiceNow environment
  • Experience managing new releases of ServiceNow and efficiently implementing new features

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • ITIL Foundations knowledge or certification
  • Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation.
