Responsibilities:

The Triage Technician is Viyu’s primary first responder. Our first responders set a critical standard for customer success through clear and professional communication, accurate documentation of the issue at hand, and timely feedback and follow-up to incoming service requests. A key area for success is in improving customer service and our perception across our client accounts by making sure they get what they need, when they need it. These key responsibilities relate to all technology and service deliverables, including: workstations, servers, printers, networks, software, and 3rd party vendors.

· Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.

· Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.

· Delivers timely follow-up, and actively manager their priorities

  • Monitor the service boards, alert systems notifications, and respond in a timely manner.
  • Utilizing company approved systems to document, resolve, escalate, and communicate professionally with clients and peers.
  • Collaborate with other staff members when presented with a challenge beyond your expertise and learning from their experience.
  • Adhere to company guidelines, best practices, and policies whether standard or newly established.
  • Represent Viyu Network Solutions in a professional manner at all times.
  • Protect the security of the client’s and the company’s information & data.

Required Skills:

  • Monitor the service boards, alert systems notifications, and respond in a timely manner.
  • IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of backup recovery solutions
  • Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Work with the Service Coordinator to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource be resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Keep all work and communication regarding clients and support as service tickets in ConnectWise.
  • Service awareness of all organization’s key services for which support is being provided.
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
