Calimia Home is a full-service interior design studio specializing in high-end residential projects. In addition to our design services, we have expanded with a Home Furnishings and Design Studio in downtown Coral Gables, offering a curated selection of furniture, décor, and design expertise.

Known for our bright and airy, lived-in aesthetic, we blend clean lines with character to create warm, timeless interiors. From new builds and renovations to furnishing and styling, we oversee every detail of our client’s projects from start to finish.

Our showroom and shop allow clients to experience our design approach firsthand, offering room-by-room design services for a more accessible, tailored experience. We’ve also partnered with a nationally recognized cabinetry company to provide kitchen design services directly from our studio, making expert design more seamless than ever.

Description

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Marketing Coordinator with a passion for interior design, digital storytelling, and community engagement. This role focuses on content creation, email marketing, event support, and website management to bring the Calimia Home aesthetic to life across digital platforms.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and strategic—able to craft compelling social media content, manage email campaigns, and assist with showroom events. This part-time, on-site position requires presence at our showroom for content creation, event execution, and assisting with general showroom operations as needed.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for Instagram, Pinterest, and other platforms
• Capture and edit photos and videos, including showroom content and behind-the-scenes project shoots
• Write compelling captions and copy that align with our brand voice
• Track and analyze social media performance to optimize engagement and growth.

Email Marketing & Campaigns

• Develop and execute a new email welcome sequence for subscribers
• Create and schedule weekly newsletters, promotions, and event invitations
• Manage email lists, track performance, and optimize content for engagement

Event Support & Coordination

• Design event invitations and manage RSVPs and guest lists
• Assist in organizing showroom events and activations
• Capture content at events for social media and marketing use

Website & Digital Content

• Assist in launching and maintaining the website, including uploading imagery, creating copy, and refining the layout
• Ensure website content aligns with brand aesthetics and messaging
• Update product listings, services, and promotional materials as needed

Showroom Support

• Assist in the showroom during designated workdays, including opening/closing duties
• Provide coverage for walk-in clients, answering questions and directing them as needed
• Ensure the showroom is visually maintained and aligned with our brand presentation

Qualifications

• A creative thinker with strong visual and storytelling skills
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok, including content strategy and engagement best practices
• Experience with email marketing platforms (Flodesk, Mailchimp, or similar)
• Proficient in Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design tools
• A self-starter with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Confident and polished communication skills
• Quick learner with a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude, natural curiosity, and a passion for design
• Ability to lift and carry heavy samples and small furniture items during merchandising or home installations

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in social media management, marketing, or a related field
• Ability to be on-site during scheduled hours for showroom coverage, content creation, and photoshoots
• Availability to assist with showroom events, including guest list management and event execution
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently while collaborating with the team
