Long-Term Substitute
Spanish Teacher - Middle School

NYS certification in Spanish 7-12 preferred.
Certified substitute: $110 per diem rate.
Higher rate obtainable after working
10 consecutive days.

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Spanish Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love for the Spanish language and culture. Responsibilities include planning and delivering interactive lessons aligned with curriculum standards, assessing student progress, and utilizing diverse teaching strategies to accommodate varying learning styles.

The Spanish Teacher will encourage students to develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while promoting cultural appreciation. Additional duties include maintaining open communication with parents and colleagues, participating in professional development, and contributing to school activities.

A bachelors degree in education or Spanish, teaching certification, and fluency in Spanish are required. Prior teaching experience and familiarity with modern language teaching tools are preferred. Join us in inspiring the next generation of global citizens!
