Job Description

Job Title: SQL Server DBA

Location: Guam (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Responsibilities:

• Ensure availability and performance of databases supporting online services and business operations (including system monitoring, performance tuning, and routine maintenance).
• Develop and implement database and system maintenance policies and procedures.
• Perform and document disaster recovery tasks.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on new data development to ensure consistency and integration.
• Monitor database systems and jobs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot SQL database performance issues.
• Work with analysts to optimize database objects, stored procedures, tables, views, triggers, indexes, user-defined functions, and SSIS packages.
• Utilize knowledge of Policy Management, Resource Governor, and dynamic management views.
• Participate in on-call rotation to address and resolve database issues, ensuring production applications remain online.
