Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Java Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX . You will design, build, and test scalable supply chain systems while collaborating with product management and coaching team members on coding best practices.

Rate Range: $48/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Java Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and test scalable, extensible, and maintainable systems, especially for order management and supply chain domains.

• Review and provide feedback on program designs for both OMS and related supply chain domains.

• Collaborate with Product Management to drive project results and deliverables.

• Participate in production support triage calls for key production issues and resolve high-priority incidents.

• Mentor and coach team members on coding standards, development skills, and best practices.

• Estimate development efforts, plan implementations, and oversee system rollouts.

• Develop a deep understanding of critical systems, processes, and functional requirements.

• Implement advanced software security techniques and ensure compliance with security standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Java development, with expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST API development, and Microservices.

• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise-level Order Management, Fulfillment, and Supply Chain Systems.

• Proficient in Kafka, Azure, JUnit, NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra), and CI/CD/DevOps solutions.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $50.00 per hour
