Job Type: Part-Time Internship
JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview:
Decision Point is a Christian non-profit organization that seeks to equip middle and high school students to lead Christian clubs at their schools. We are training Student Leaders to take the gospel into their public schools by personally witnessing for Christ, leading weekly Bible studies, hosting campus-wide outreaches and following up with all who respond. Students in turn are learning to build their lives on the Rock of Christ and His Word. Ultimately, we are praying God will bring a student-led, church-supported campus awakening to the love of Christ at every public school.
We are also bringing the gospel to the next generation where they are – online and on social media. Students are being bombarded with every evil influence imaginable through their phones. We believe it is vital that we shine the light of Christ in this space as well as on campus as we seek to take every thought captive and proclaim to every student the joy and peace found only in Jesus Christ.
In it all, we partner with pastors who want to see a fresh movement of dynamic youth evangelism in theri church and throughout their region.
Our Mission is to proclaim the Gospel to the next generation…till every student has heard.
About the Role:
Decision Point is looking for individuals with servant hearts who want to make an impact through online recruiting and student onboarding. In this position, you will be able to assist in onboarding interested Christian students who learn about Decision Point from online ads, summer camps, and conferences. Decision Point is growing, and as awareness spreads of what students can do to reach their schools with the gospel, more and more students are wanting to get involved. As a Student Mobilization Intern, you will be able to help students go from hearing about reaching their school to taking their next step to actually doing something about it. This internship opportunity is being offered in Spring 2023 (with the possibility of longer employment). If you are looking to receive internship credit for your school, we are open to working with you to satisfy these requirements!
Supervision
Every intern will report to a Decision Point staff member. The Decision Point staff member will invest in their intern’s personal leadership, faith, and empower them to lead in ministry. Each intern will also be supervised by their internship supervisor who will directly oversee all interns and their personal development.

There will be collaborative internship projects, where you will get to work alongside other Decision Point interns on semester-long projects! You will also have weekly 1-on-1 meetings with your supervisor, monthly team events, and other fun connect points that will help you grow in community with our team of believers! You will also have collaborative internships projects, where you will work with other interns on a larger scale semester long internship project.
Pay Scale and Support Raising
This position is a part-time, hourly paid position.
At Decision Point, our ministry is funded by God’s people stewarding their finances to support God’s work. Every level of our team participates in support raising to the appropriate degree, including Decision Point interns. As an intern, you will form a personal support team who you will ask to support you through prayers and finances. You will also maintain that relationship by sending out newsletters and tracking donations through your own support tracker.
Whether you are a veteran intern or a new intern, you will be expected to send out at least 70 letters to friends and family. For more details, see the Lead Coach Support Raising Policy.
