AS A TRAVELING RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER
You will set the tone for the internal and external guest experiences during each and every shift; and you know that the team’s energy directly impacts everyone who walks through the front door.
This job will require the ability to travel approximately 80-85% of the time, helping to work at locations that will need coverage while a GM is off for a few days up to the need to help cover the gap in hiring a new GM which can take several weeks.
It is expected that you will have very strong leadership skills and naturally walk into a restaurant to comfortably earn the trust of the staff, be approachable, kind, and assess the immediate needs from staffing needs, service levels, administration needs, etc.
YOU'LL HAVE...
5+ years of successfully running a high-volume and upscale food focused restaurant
Proven experience delivering top-notch dining experiences
Compassion for people and embrace IRHG core values
Strong problem resolution skills and ability to proactively set the team up for success
Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
Effective communication skills and the ability to navigate important conversations
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE FLOOR & IN THE OPERATION…
Your schedule may vary (days, nights, weekends, holidays) based on seasonality, covers, and hours of operation but in general you can expect to work 40 to 50 hours a week.
