We are currently seeking an experienced NON-CDL Delivery Truck Drivers and Helpers to join our team as Independent Workers. The Driver position involves a combination of driving and delivering & junk removal responsibilities, while Helper positions will provide support with the deliveries/junk removal. Our Customers range from High end commercial-residential therefore, we are only seeking professional individuals to fill this position. We make routes to the 5 boroughs. The Truck's daily pick-up/drop-off site is located in the 10454 zip code (Bronx, NY). Drivers Pay is $20/hr and Helpers Pay is $16/hr with room for growth.
Job responsibilities include and are not limited to the following :
- Perform route driving to deliver goods to designated locations using our trucks.
-Provide junk removals
- Communicate effectively with team members in coordinating departments
-Must be able to assemble/breakdown items
- Operate a box truck for transportation of goods
-processing payments
-Customer communication
- Unloading tasks
-Maintaining inventory at storage
- Handle heavy lifting as required
- Drive safely and responsibly in adherence to traffic laws
- Conduct commercial driving activities efficiently
- Serve as a delivery driver when needed from warehouse to store locations
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
-Valid Driver's License
- Experience in route driving and commercial driving- 2yrs
-Furniture/product assemble & breakdown capable
- Proficiency in warehouse operations
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork
- Ability to operate a box truck and forklifts
- Capability to load and unload goods efficiently
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks
