A day in the life of the Security Industry.
As a Security professional, you are alert and observant in order to keep your assigned facility and its personnel safe. You secure your post by patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points. To maintain safety, you also permit entry into the facility. You take your responsibility seriously, always showing up on time, staying alert throughout your shift, and keeping accurate records.
Sitting at a desk all day isn't your style but keeping people safe is. If anything threatens your assigned property, you are ready to respond according to the excellent training you've received. No matter what happens, you remain calm and professional while informing violators of policy and procedures. Each day, you keep detailed records which include scan tags, written reports of your observations, incidents, surveillance activities, and other relevant information. You have on-hand emergency site personnel contact information. When necessary, you contact site personnel, interview witnesses, and obtain statements and signatures. As a security professional, you feel great about the important role you play in keeping people and property safe!
QUALIFICATIONS
* At least 18 years of age
* Authorized to work in the US
* Valid Maryland Guard Credentials
* Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurance
* Have reliable transportation
* Can pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening
* Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
* Tech-savvy, ability to learn and use Track Tik and WhatsApp applications
