We are looking for a dedicated part-time Warehouse Assistant to join our team and help us maintain our commitment to excellence.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Assistant is to ensure inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The warehouse assistant will package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery; pick up/deliver product, samples, fabric, and supplies; and perform errands as assigned. This is a part-time position of 24 hours per week, with the work schedule to be agreed upon by the candidate and Plum.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the warehouse is sufficiently supplied for day-to-day activities.
• Ensure warehouse is kept clean and optimized for efficient use of space.
• Support Product Development + Design (PDD) team with product and supply pick up/delivery.
• Ensure standards and procedures for consolidating merchandise and preparing storage areas according to production and shipping requirements.
• Restock product as needed.
• Monitor the accuracy of inventory through scheduled cycle counts and daily bin spot checks.
• Be familiar with services of the organization and its associated functions.
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
• Perform various other duties as assigned by management.

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility including but not limited to distribution, office areas, manufacturing environments, including the outside perimeter of the building.
• Must be able, without assistance, to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crouching.
• Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions. Ability to distinguish color to perform job functions.
  
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Technical proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
